Make it easier for adults and families experiencing homelessness to navigate and connect with existing resources (e.g. shelters, food, supportive services, activities).
We’re actively working to achieve the goal set in the Minneapolis Downtown Council’s 2025 Plan to become the first major city in the country to end street homelessness, and we know how important improving access to information about available services, programs, and activities will be to achieve that goal.
We would like to go beyond existing print resources (i.e. the Handbook of the Streets) and follow the lead of a similar project underway for those in the youth shelter system by developing an app (and/or mobile website) to serve as a central, digital, geographically-relevant, real-time resource.
